East Lancashire's Rock and Roll / Post Punk band, The Rafters, formed in Blackburn in Summer 2019 by members of now defunct Blackburn bands Middle Finger Salute and The Shade. The band quickly set the pace of what they were all about. Their track “Slippin’ Away” was played by Soccer Am and subsequently added to their playlist.
The Rafters are Nathan Griffiths (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Ryan McDermott (Bass/Vocals), Joe Roscow (Guitar/Vocals) and Josh Greenwood (Drums). socials: @TheRafters2
'Serotones' are a five piece indie rock band from York, as heard on Radio X, RTE and Soccer AM to name but a few. The latest single 'Dream Start' has more than a nod towards an early nineties sound which we can certainly get behind! Find the lads on the usual streaming sites, as well as YouTube and socials @SerotonesUK
'The Comms' are a garage punk band hailing from Northampton. Formed in the summer of 2019, with a number of gigs and two singles under their belts. The latest of which is 'Pulled Apart', released in November. Find them on all the usual streaming platforms, YouTube, and socials @thecomms_band
Doncaster four piece 'The Outcharms' were formed in 2014, and in the six years since have worked their way up from support slots to headlining The Leopard in Doncaster twice, as well as The Foundry and The Leadmill in Sheffield. You can find the lads on the usual streaming sites and youtube, and across socials @theoutcharms.
A stunningly good 6 song live session from Manchester band ‘Separator’ (formerly ‘Alex Rave and The Sceptical’, the name still used on Spotify if you find yourself searching for them). If you like your indie music with a ‘moodier' edge, then you’ll love this. The set consists of two brand new songs, as well as four tracks from the bands first EP. As soon as live music resumes, this band will be one of the first on my list. You can follow the lads on socials, @separatoruk.
Newport boy, Jack Perrett, has been a staple on the CDT playlist for quite a while now. Emerging in 2016, Jack has since gone on to make several festival appearances including The Great Escape and Isle Of White Festival. He’s also been heavily featured by BBC radio and TV. In 2018 Jack went viral with his song ‘Portlife’, a Newport parody based on Blur’s hit ‘Parklife’. ‘Like A Fever’, featured here, is a ‘no holds barred, bombastic terrace anthem’. Follow Jack on twitter @JPerrettMusic.
Presenting Manchester five piece, Sinclair. ‘Driven by catchy guitar riffs, mesmerising melodies and robust, provoking vocals, along with tight and powerful drums and bass lines‘. Taking influences from the likes of Joy Division and The Doors. The band are just back from a stint in the studio, and have 3 new singles up their sleeves. The first being ‘SIM Card Citizen’, Out 28th November.

York based Skylights have gone from strength to stength over the last 12 months. Now signed, with a couple of high charting singles under their belts, the lads are selling out venues across the UK. They made their TV debut on Soccer AM in February, with a blistering live performance of single 'Enemies'. As long standing supporters of our label, we are proud to be assosiated with such a great band, and were honoured Rob went with one of our archive smock jackets for this particular performance!
At only 14 years of age, Glaswegian Connor Fyfe is already making waves across the Scottish music scene and beyond. He already has a debut album under his belt, as well as becoming the youngest ever artist to sell out King Tuts. You can follow Connor on Twitter @ConnorFyfeMusic, Instagram @connorfyfeofficial, and listen on all the usual streaming platforms. 'Truth Be Told', Connors latest single, performed live here, charted in the top 20.
Exclusive acoustic performance of ‘Hanging me at dawn’, the forthcoming single from Liverpool’s The Shipbuilders. We've been fans of this band for a while now. Be sure to check out their back catalogue on Spotify. Singer Matty is currently raising funds for ‘Fans Supporting Foodbanks’, a charity formed by ‘The Blue Union’ & ‘Spirit of Shankly’, supporters groups from both Everton FC and Liverpool FC. Fantastic work. Catch up with the lads on Spotify and twitter @TheShipbuilders
